The Social Health Awards recognize and celebrate the work of patient and caregiver leaders who demonstrate the following principles as they share their health stories online and in person:
- Raise awareness for and connect those living with health conditions
- Foster greater public understanding of the impact of living with or caring for someone with a health condition
- Inform and educate about the roles of patients and caregivers and the healthcare system and profession
- Shed light on practices or procedures needing correction or improvement
- Encourage and promote efforts to help improve living with a chronic condition

Winners will be announced on June 26th and will be invited to the September 2024 Fierce Pharmaceutical Conference in Philadelphia, PA. Winners will also be offered the opportunity to serve on Health Union’s Patient Leadership Council for one year.
